It struck me on Friday evening, when I got home from work, that it was a lovely evening and I should go out with my camera. As I walked up the hill I realised that I have never really taken photos of the church, so I made an effort to put that right. It's a common thing, when you live in the shadow of something, that you almost stop seeing it. One thing that my interest in photography has done is to make me look at the world differently and look at the familiar in a new and interesting way.
One day I'll take some photos inside as well.
Just for historical interest, the oldest part of the church dates back to the 12th century and it was built on and added to up to about the16th century.
