Dunster, Somerset

A short while before I got to Dunkery Beacon (funny, I thought a Dunkery would be an enormous tea shop!), I stopped off at the village of Dunster on the edge of Exmoor. It's a delightful place that I've known all my life but had never taken photos there before.

This is a view looking down the main street with the castle in the distance. Unfortunately they are doing work on the roof, so it's got all that plastic all over it to stop the rain getting in.

The Yarn Market. It was built in the early part of the seventeenth century and is a bit of a tourist magnet.

Some shots of the inside and how it all fits together.

Me speeding away to my date with sheep-shaped destiny!
