Yesterday I had a day out of the office. I had to go to the eastern side of Somerset to attend a meeting. The meeting didn't last as long as expected, so I had a bit of time on my hands. Not far from where I was is this splendid 14th century castle in the quaint little village of Nunney. I decided to take a detour and visit it to take some photographs for ilmera. I hadn't been there since I was a child, though I have driven close by many times. It is a delightful little castle that is looked after really well. It was ruined during the English Civil War. There is a gorgeous little moat surrounding it and the only other person I saw while I was there was a fisherman seeing what he could find in the water.
So, for ilmera and anyone else who is interested here are some of my photographs of Nunney Castle. I hope you like them.

Abstract photos number 5
I took this one in Switzerland a few weeks ago. I just loved the contrast of the red leaves and the amazingly blue sky.
