Wanaka tree

Wells in spring (there's a joke in there somewhere)

Just over a week ago, on the Sunday afternoon, I decided that it was warm enough and sunny enough for me to venture out into the wide, wide world to see what I could see. I didn't have any particular plan in mind but just, sort of, ended up in Wells, the smallest city in England and about half an hour's drive from home.

It's a lovely place when the sun's shining, and particularly at this time of year. It's a bit of a tourist trap at any time, but on the first really warm sunny day of the year it was mainly locals taking their chance to mingle and look and enjoy the fabulous architecture and atmosphere. It's a great place for people-watching with the green in front of the
catherdal, paths for people to stroll by and grass to play and sit and relax on.

I promise you, I have done nothing to these photos, the sky colour is perfectly genuine!
