Wanaka tree

Chepstow Castle

Sunday lived up to its name and was glorious. So, with my mother in tow, (with a disabled badge she gets across the Severn Bridges free) we set off early in the afternoon. An hour or so later we were trying to find somewhere to park in Chepstow. The town is in the very bottom right hand corner of Wales and has England to the south, east and north of it. I've driven past Chepstow loads of times but had never stopped there before. It's a lovely little town, and here are some pictures to prove it.

It's a shame this picture came out so dark because it was a lovely view across the River Wye to the town and castle on the Welsh bank. But I did like the street lamp.

I loved this row of houses in Bridge Street.

The first of many photos of the castle
