Wanaka tree

This is just to sign off for a few days. I won't be around on LJ for a few days. Tomorrow morning at sparrow's fart I will be hitting the road, with my mother riding shotgun and probably listening to Berlioz or something, and heading over to Wales.

First stop, all being well, will be Tintern Abbey in the Wye Valley. Lots of photos!

Then it will be on to Welshpool, where my aunt lives.

In the afternoon I want to go and have a mooch around the grounds of Powis castle.

On Saturday I'm hoping to go to Lake Vyrnwy.

And possibly, Pistyll Rhaeadr, the highest waterfall in England and Wales.

Then, on the way back on Sunday, we will probably call in at Ironbridge to see what that's like as well.

So, as I say, there should be lots of opportunities to take a few photos. The weather forecast isn't great, but I'm sure I'll be able to grab a few fleeting moments of niceness amidst the rain.

So, I wish you all well for the coming few days and look forward to catching up with you all again at the beginning of next week. Take care.
