Wanaka tree

Driving

These are the last couple of photos from my Christmas break in The Netherlands. As is always the case, we did a lot of driving around. I know they are not unique but I love these tree-lined roads and took a lot of photos through the windscreen as we were speeding along the highways and by-ways of Groningen, Drenthe and Friesland.

And finally, I can prove it's a small world. Here is a sign to a small village in Friesland. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a Grossmünster or Cabaret Voltaire. Probably doesn't have a lake either, though it's pretty close to the Ijsselmeer, so I suppose that counts.
