Wanaka tree

Watersmeet, Exmoor

The last part of my 'Out and about' day had me walking down a very steep, winding path to Watersmeet. At the bottom of the valley is the place where two rivers, the East Lyn and, presumably the West Lyn, meet up before they become the River Lyn which then flows out to sea at Lynmouth.

There are a few cracking waterfalls and lots of riverside paths to explore the area. There is even a tea shop, though it is probably called Ye Olde Tea Shoppe - I didn't really notice. I had a great time for an hour or so, wandering the paths and trying not to fall in the streams or be pounded to death by the waterfalls. I also had an interesting time time trying to avoid getting any of the other people who were there in my pictures.

Here are some of them.
