Wanaka tree

Yet again I have been blessed with two more new LJ friends.

dirtydina is from the USA and wants to visit New Zealand. Good on you. I'm sure you will love it, though it is true that I might just be a little bit biased. I am looking forward to getting to know you better through our LJ friendship. If I can be of help to you in any way, then please just ask away and I will see what I can do. I understand from your LJ that you are really looking forward to visiting the Rotorua area and especially the world's only geothermally heated prawn farm near Taupo (that is such a typically off-beat Kiwi concept). I have to admit that I didn't go there, though I was very close. Not far from the prawn farm are the Huka Falls (which I did visit) and I have decided to dedicate this picture of the falls to you. Please go there it is an amazing place; the mighty Waikato River suddenly gets channelled through this narrow gorge in a very spectacular way.

So, this picture of the Huka Falls is dedicated to dirtydina, I really hope you get to New Zealand and have a fabulous time there.

My next new friend is ya_yasna_ya. She is another Russian friend to add to my list of remarkable and very special friends from that incredible country. One of my very favourite people in all the world is Russian and there are others that I am getting to know. ya_yasna_ya is a friend of mark_off_ka and like her comes from Vladivostok, on the Russian coast of the Japan Sea. I was thrilled by the very nice things that ya_yasna_ya has already said about my journal and I know she appreciates a beautiful picture, so here is another.

This is Lake Wakatipu in New Zealand, not far from Queenstown, and I dedicate the photograph to you. As with all my LJ friends, I am looking forward to getting to know you better and to learning about your world.

So, dirtydina and ya_yasna_ya, I hope you like the images I have dedicated to you and that you enjoy being a part of my LJ world just as much as I am delighted to have you both here. Welcome.
