Glastonbury Abbey - November 2011

Hello. Remember me? I'm really sorry I haven't been around for such a long time. Lots of things seem to have got in the way lately - mostly work and stuff that I'm not going to bore you with, and the ever- present desire not to be sitting in front of a computer screen after having just spent eight or more hours doing exactly that all day. And feeling like that really upsets me because I feel I'm letting you all down. And I never want to do that. So, I'm sorry I haven't been around. and I'm sorry if I've upset anyone by not commenting where I should, or not being there when needed. I will try to get into a routine where I put time aside for you all. You matter.

Anyway, last week-end my favourite cousin, Hannah, came to visit. Because of events way beyond our control, the carnival we were planning to go to didn't happen, so instead we made a special visit to Glastonbury. In the low light on an orange- tinged autumn afternoon the abbey was magnificent. The combination of the colours of the warm stone and the beautiful trees in various stages of facing up to the coming winter were a delight. I hope you enjoy my photos as a record of that afternoon, as much as I enjoyed being there with Hannah.
