That paragraph has hopefully laid the groundwork for what is to come. I am not a religious person, in any way. I respect the rights and feelings of others and leave those kinds of choices to them to make for themselves, hoping they will leave me out altogether so that I can toddle along in my happy unburdened, unbelieving way. As long as no-one tries to turn me into something I'm not I will not express my views or interfere or persuade in any way. Fair's fair. I can't criticise something I don't understand and neither can I subscribe to it.
Having said all that, I saw this article by one of my favourite writers on a New Zealand newspaper's website and just thought it was brilliant.
