Meme about my 2010

Happy New Year everyone. I had a great Christmas, as always, in The Netherlands. I took lots of wintery photos. I haven't gone through them yet, but I'll be doing that over the next couple of days. Then I'll be showing you what I've got.

So, to start the year off, and in anticipation of my usual round up of the past year by selecting my favourite photos of the places I visited and the things I did, here is a meme that I saw in my friend Tanya's journal and couldn't help stealing.

1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
I got properly acquainted with Scotland, the land of some of my ancestors, and wore a kilt.

I'll quote from one of my own songs:
Everyday life is like barbed wire too,
You are just caught whatever you do.
It's easy to see,
It's right by your side
Digging its barbs right into your pride.
