No, though there are a few around who I'm very happy to be with.

Yes, but the last time alcohol passed my lips was when I was in Saint Petersburg at the end of September. Haven't I been a good boy? Note to self - better get some practice in before heading off to The Netherlands for Christmas.

I was in a meeting where I was not alone in not having the first idea what it was all about. It was such a relief to know that I understood no less than everyone else.

No, just because you can't see something doesn't make it frightening. I delight in the fact that the village I live in doesn't have streetlights.
